Ms. Yu currently is the Director of Community Outreach & Media at Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN), Manhattan's Community Access TV organization in New York City. At MNN, she provides media making tools andresources to community based organizations and activists through video production training & a Community Media Grants program. Most recently, she has been one of the lead organizers in the Save Public Access TV campaign in New York, organizing individuals & organizations to any legislation that can threaten Community Access TV, a valuable media resource to the social change movement. Betty holds a B.F.A. in Film and Television from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, with a focus in Documentary Film. Betty is on the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Community Media (ACM), the national umbrella organization of over 3000 Community Access TV centers. She was recently selected for the 2007 National Rockwood Fellowship in Media, Communications and Information Policy. She currently sits on the Board of Directors of Chinese Staff and Workers’ Association (CSWA), a 27 year old workers' center organizing Chinese immigrant workers to fight sweatshop conditions in New York City's Chinatown, working with them to use media to expose these economic injustices.

Jennifer Wager is a NYC area media educator and director of the film. She currently is a Community Outreach & Media Specialist and teaches video production and post-production to community groups at Manhattan Neighborhood Network, the flagship community TV station in the U.S. She also serves on the board of the National Mobilization Against Sweatshops, with whom she has facilitated a community video oral history project, producing a DVD and Web-based series of short films on the lives of immigrant and working class women from the Lower East Side. Since 1995, Ms. Wager has created several online experimental education projects, including the Smithsonian-award winning W.E.B. Du Bois Virtual University. Ms. Wager holds a M.A. in African Studies from Ohio State University and a M.A. in Communication and Technology from Georgetown University. Her first feature documentary, Venezuela Rising, has won awards and been featured in the Al-Jazeera and Latin American Film Festival in Havana. Mission Ribas, which provides remedial high school level classes to the five million Venezuelan high school dropouts, is also using the film nationally in Venezuela as part of their curriculum.

Ivettza Sanchez is an independent video blogger and an educator with Manhattan Neighborhood Network where she specializes in Community Outreach, Facilitated Productions and is a coordinator for the East Harlem site. She has spoken at various conferences throughout the nation on the digital divide, videoblogging, and web 2.0 applications. Her workshops are her based on the idea that this technology allows grassroots producers to send,receive and reinforce knowledge, dialoge and cultural expression at the community level.

Cory has worked at Manhattan Neighborhood Network for over seven years. Previous to working in the Community Media Department he has worked in MNN's Production Department, providing media making tools to residents of Manhattan. Currently, he specializes in training community based organizations in field and studio - both at 59th Street and our DCTV locations.
